Huge task facing St Mary's

November 04, 2015

Sligo champions St Mary's will have to be on top of their game if they are going to cause a surprise in the Connacht club SFC this weekend.

The reigning Connacht and All-Ireland champions Corofin come to town as the sides meet in Markievicz Park on Sunday.

St Mary's won their first county title in 14 years when they defeated Curry in the county final last month.

The Sligo champions are very much the underdogs in this clash, but they go into the game full of confidence and they certainly have the players to trouble Corofin's defence.

However, it is hard to look beyond a win for the Galway champions, but there is no doubt that St Mary's will battle all the way.
