Drumcliffe Rosses Point GAA Club Notes

The draw for the Belfry senior footballl championship relegation pairings will be made this Sunday evening on Ocean fm. The men's senior team will be in the hat along with Geevagh, St John's and either St Molaise Gaels/St Mary's.


Well done to our U13 boys who recorded their second Feile league win with a 6-14 to 1-5 victory over shamrock Gaels on Wednesday evening in Oxfield.


Our U9 and U11 footballers continued their participation in the city mini leagues with a series of enjoyable matches against St John's last Tuesday evening in Scarden. We play Coolera/Strandhill this week.


A group of our GAA Nursery U7 footballers took part in a very enjoyable fun blitz last Saturday morning in Kent Park. Our thanks to the St Mary's club for the invitation. It was a very enjoyable event for both the players and their parents.


There was no jackpot winner in the first two draws of the club's new Super Monthly Lotto for 2015. The draw details were as follows:

JUNE DRAW
Numbers draw : 5, 13, 14, 21. There was no Match 4 or Match 3 winner.
The four €25 euro winners were: Pat McCormack €25, Clare Campbell €25, Michael McTighe €25 Fiona Quilter €25.

JULY DRAW
Numbers drawn: 5, 13, 17, 24. No Match 4 or Match 3 winner. The four €25 euro winners were: John McDermott €25, Michael & Geraldine Gibbons €25, Cathal Costello €25, Enda Scanlon €25.


Congrats to Maureen McTernan from Glencar who won our All-Ireland football final ticket draw last month. Fergal Hickey from Rosses Point won the lotto subscribers ticket draw.
