Sligo will decide on the venue for the 2015 Connacht SFC final against holders Mayo.

Before a ball is kicked in anger, the Yeats County - who stunned Roscommon in their semi-final last weekend - will have a major tactical decision to make as it is up to them where the July 19th provincial showcase will be staged.

Markievicz Park is unable to host the final since its capacity is only 16,000.

The choice facing the Yeats County is to either have the match played in Pearse Stadium, Galway - which is two hours away - or to enter the lion's den and concede home advantage to Mayo by playing at MacHale Park.

When the sides met in the 2012 decider, Mayo had the choice of neutral venue and they opted for Hyde Park, Roscommon. But this venue was downgraded to a 18,750 capacity by the Slattery Report three years ago.
