Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes

June 22, 2015

Intermediate
The intermediate team get their championship campaign underway this Sunday evening when they travel to take on Cloonacool at 6pm in Cloonacool Community Park. We wish the management team and the panel of players the best of luck for the upcoming campaign. All support is appreciated.
U-14
Our u-14 team will hope to secure the club's first piece of silverware of 2015 when they meet Calry/St Joseph's in the Division Two shield final on Wednesday evening. At the time of writing no venue was decided but it is likely to be held in Scarden or Collooney. The throw-in will be at 7pm and we encourage you all to get down and support the lads. Good luck to all involved.
U-12
Our u-12s shipped a heavy defeat to Bunninadden in the league last week. The final group game takes place against Easkey next week.
Golf Classic
Our golf classic is fast approaching on Friday July 17th. A team of four is €120, which is great value considering that the event is held over one of Ireland's premier golf courses in Enniscrone and it promises to be a wonderful day. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for either general sponsorship or sponsorship of a tee box. For further details, contact Tom McManus (coordinator) or any committee member.
Ladies game for Quigabar
This Wednesday evening (June 24th) Sligo and Mayo meet in the Connacht LGFA U-16 Championship in Quigabar. Throw-in is at 7pm.
County scene
Congrats to Sligo on a superb win over Roscommon in the Connacht SFC last Saturday. Prior to the game, the club was represented by Oisin Hynes (Enniscrone NS) and Fiona Feeney (Kilglass NS) in the Cumann na mBunscol games on the pitch.
This Saturday, the Sligo minor team begin their championship campaign against Leitrim in Carrick-on-Shannon at 2pm. Best wishes to our own Mark O'Dowd and everyone involved.
Blotto
The blotto draw continues every Saturday night in local pubs. Your support is greatly appreciated.
