Sligo's Brian Curran is adamant that they will not be lacking confidence against Roscommon on Saturday.

The sides meet in the Connacht SFC semi-final at Markievicz Park this weekend and Roscommon enter the match as strong favourites to advance to the decider where they will face Mayo on July 19th.

Curran stressed to the Sligo Champion that their preparations have gone very well and he added that they were looking forward to the game.

"We have plenty of confidence in the squad, we know that we have a good squad all over so we'll be concentrating on what we're already doing and we will be okay," said Curran.

"Roscommon will be very tough they have a serious squad and have done very well this year league wise so it is going to be tough against them."
