The Centre of Excellence is certainly fulfilling its potential with all the County teams and development squads utilising the facility since March. And in the past few weeks the Centre has hosted many Underage finals providing opportunities for all our young players to enjoy the new facility with 20 Clubs so far having played there.
The County Board wish to once again reiterate their apology to both Easkey and Ballymote Minors for the circumstances leading to their final at the Centre of Excellence being postponed.
Over the next few weeks both the Minor and Senior footballers and the Senior hurlers will be using the Centre extensively as they prepare for their Championship encounters in June.
