Intermediate
The intermediate team fell to a 1-12 to 0-8 defeat to St Patrick's in the opening round of the Division Two league last Sunday. In horrendous weather conditions, the lads put in a decent display in the first half against a gale force wind to only trail by five points (1-4 to 0-2), and reduced the deficit to four points by the midway point of the second half only for Mark Gordon to be harshly dismissed for two yellows 12 minutes from time and St Patrick's utilised their extra man well. Nonetheless, there were plenty of positives and the team will hope to show similar endeavour next week when they take on old rivals Easkey in the Benson Cup - throw in is at 3.45pm next Saturday afternoon.
