Groundsmen honoured
November 26, 2014Markievicz Park groundsmen Tom Gallen and Paddy Galvin were honoured at the Sligo GAA Club All Stars.
Both men were inducted into the Sligo GAA Hall of Fame for their continued work at the famed old grounds.
Galvin has been involved with the upkeep of Markievicz Park since 1968, while Gallen has been working at the Sligo venue since 1993.
