Tubbercurry manager Willie Gormley knows that his charges will have to be at their best to see off the challenge of St Mary's in Sunday's County SFC final.

It is 23 years since Tubbercurry last won the Owen B Hunt Cup and having lost last year's final to Tourlestrane, they are determined to go one step further this year.

Speaking to the Sligo Champion, Gormley said: "St Mary's are the form team of the championship. As with all finals, it all depends what happens on the day."

Meanwhile, St Mary's manager Tommy Breheny said: "We're delighted to be preparing for a county final. It's what we set out to do at the beginning of the year. It's been too long since we last won, but it will be difficult against Tubbercurry."
