Tubbercurry manager Willie Gormley has admitted that his charges are driven by last year's county final defeat.

Gormley revealed to the Sligo Champion that last year's county final defeat to Tourlestrane is the motivation they are using in this year's campaign.

On Sunday, they come up against the defending champions in the county semi final and Gormley knows that it will be a tough contest.

"We sat down as a group after last year's final and said we want to get back. Now, we are just one step away from doing that.

"It's never easy against Tubbercurry though and we will have to be at our best."
