The Sligo senior football championship witnessed one of its biggest upsets in years last weekend.

Defending champions Tourlestrane suffered a shock defeat to St John's as the Carraroe side recorded a 0-09 to 0-08 victory.

Last year's finalists Tubbercurry also suffered a defeat as St Mary's were one point victors over them and leaves them top of the table. Tweet
