Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes

August 04, 2014
Intermediate
The intermediate team recorded their second win in group two of the Kennedys Bar Intermediate Championship last Sunday with an eventually comfortable 11 point win. A poor second quarter meant that our lads only held a one point lead at the break, but a good opening to the second half ensured a vital victory was secure. The team was as follows: K Mullaney; C Mullaney, B Jacob, M O'Dowd; D Mullaney, C O'Dowd, R Jacob; JP Carden, B Byron; T Mahon, M Gordon, E Gilroy; B Coleman, M Moyles, D Cawley. Subs: L Varley, S Morrison, J Morrison, D Greer, MJ Crean.
At the time of writing, there were no fixtures confirmed for the Junior 'B' side.

Minor
A depleted minor team suffered a heavy defeat to Geevagh after a disappointing performance last Thursday evening. They will hope to get things back on track when they play Owenmore Gaels on August 14th.

U16
The u16's play St Pat's on Monday evening (August 4th) at 7pm in Dromard in a 'B' championship encounter.

U14
Our u14's put in a disappointing display in losing to Calry/St Joseph's at Quigabar last Friday. There is now no game in the competition until August 15th.

U12
The u12 boys put in a great display vs Eastern Harps last week, only to lose by a point 0-15 to 0-14. They are still in a good position in the table - a win vs Owenmore Gaels in the final round could secure a semi-final spot. That game is fixed for Tuesday week (August 12th).

U8/U10
Our u8's and u10's had an enjoyable evening last Wednesday when they hosted Easkey in Quigabar.

Blotto
The blotto draw is currently on its summer break. It will return in September.
Thanks to all club members who helped out at the recent championship double-header at Quigabar.
