Well done to our Senior men who recorded their 6th win of the Divison 1 league campaign on Sunday evening last when they overcame Geevagh on a scoreline of 3-16 to 0-5 points. The team sit at the top of the table with 2 games remaining against St. John's and St. Molaise Gaels respectively.

Our Senior Hurlers put in a great performance on Sunday last to overcome Coolera/Strandhill in round 3 of the championship. The team won by the narrowest of margins on a score of 1-14 to 1-13.

Our Minors kick started their championship campaign on Friday last when they travelled to Ransboro. The team ran out winners on a score of 6-17 to 1-7. Well done to all involved.

Our U-14 boys were victorious on the same night when they hosted St.Farnan's in the league semi final. After a serge of goals, the home side won 7-6 to 4-10 and advance to the final.

Our U-16 boys start their championship campaign tonight (Monday) when they take on St. Pat's at 7pm in Skreen.

Our U-12's play Curry, away, on Tuesday night in round 7 of the league. Well done to the mentors and parents for all their hard work with this group of players.

Hard luck to our U-12 Community Games Girls football team who lost the Connaght Semi final in Tuam on Saturday last. The team are a hugely talented group of girls who have done the parish very proud and are certainly ones to look out for in the future.

Well done to Adrian McIntyre, Barry Walsh and the rest of the Sligo Senior team and management on their 0-12 to 0-10 victory over Wicklow in Aughrim on Saturday last.

Hard luck to Grainne Carty and the rest of the Sligo Ladies team and management who lost out to Leitrim in the Connaght Intermeidate Football Final in Castlebar on Sunday last.
