Roscommon's hopes of reclaiming the Nestor Cup on Sunday week have suffered a huge blow with the news that Neil Collins will miss out through injury.
The St Brigids, Dublin based full-back has been ruled out of the Connacht SFC final clash versus Galway after he suffered a hamstring injury in training.
Collins had been troubled by injury in the run-up to the semi-final against Sligo, but appeared to have recovered when he came on as a second-half substitute in the thrilling comeback win at Dr Hyde Park.
There could be further setbacks for Kevin McStay-Fergal O'Donnell's charges with Ian Cooney of the Roscommon Herald reporting a "critical 24 hours" for a couple of other players:
