Training
Training starts back in the field for the adult teams this Tuesday at 8pm. It's a good chance for the lads to blow off the cobwebs before the Xmas break and really tear into the New Year. All new members are very welcome especially new people to the town and any younger club members.

AIT Sports Institute
The Intermediate and Junior teams visited the extremely impressive AIT Sports Institute on Saturday last and were put through the wringer by the skilled sports science team in AIT. The lads endured a serious of strength, mobility and speed testing before facing a 12 minute fitness test. The lads will return in 8 weeks' time to see how they have improved by following the training and diet programme set out by the AIT Sports Science Team. Thanks to AIT and the club for organising this event

Mini Maroons
The final Mini Maroon sessions of the year will take place this Tuesday for 1st to 6th class and Thursday for Junior and Senior Infants at the usual times. There may well be a little treat for the kids and I am sure Farrelly will have a word in Santa's ear about how well behaved the children have being coming up to Christmas. Thanks to all the parents and trainers who make this such a success.

Presentation of Lotto Jackpot
Last Tuesday evening in the School Hall, Chairman Paul Keating and Treasurer Maurice Henry presented Denise and Mark Hanley with the Daingean GAA Jackpot of €5,200. It is a great sign for the Lotto to be won so regularly and Denise and Mark thanked Daingean GAA for their prize. Paul asked the local community to keep playing and supporting the local lotto.
