Offaly chairman Padraig Boland has revealed that the County Board are seeking clarification from Croke Park on whether or not the structures in places for their All-County Football League are within regulation.
Boland informed delegates that they had contacted Croke Park asking for information on the legibility of the current structures passed at the start of the year.
The changes included that teams be regionalised in their divisions to cut down on travelling, while score difference was also brought into play.
Once the regionalised divisions were completed, teams then went into the league proper and with score differences being brought forward, herewith in lay the problem.
Uncertainty surrounded some of the games and the matter was sent to Croke Park who confirmed that the structures in place were within the law.
