Offaly minor hurlers head into the lion's den this Saturday when they take on Kilkenny in the Leinster MHC at Nowlan Park.

The Faithful County already have a game under their belt when they defeated Laois in the last round, but they will face a much tougher test this time around.

Offaly manager Eamon O'Connor will know that his side will have to step up a gear or two if they are to cause an upset in this one.

However, all is not lost if they lose, they will go into the backdoor route which will see them play again in May.
