The Dowling Cup decider on October 11 will be a repeat of last year's final.

In yesterday's semi-final double-header at O'Connor Park, champions Rhode accounted for Clara on a 0-12 to 1-5 scoreline, while a dominant first half display laid the foundations for Edenderry's 2-14 to 2-7 victory over Tullamore.

Rhode were more comfortable winners over Clara than the scoreline suggests, with the losers' goal coming from Ross Brady in injury-time. Niall McNamee posted 0-5 for 'The Village', who welcomed back Paraic Sullivan after a long injury layoff.

Despite being without the suspended Richie Dalton, Edenderry were much too good for Tullamore, with goals from Jordan Hayes and Sean Doyle leaving them perched on a 2-8 to 0-3 lead at the break.
