Two Offaly managers were ratified into their positions at this week's county board meeting.

New senior hurling manager Eamonn Kelly has received the backing of club delegates as the former Kerry manager takes over from Brian Whelehan.

Kelly has yet to name his backroom team for the coming year with at least some or all of the selectors being chosen from within the county.

Meanwhile, Kilcormac/Killoughey's Eamonn 'Ned' O'Connor has been ratified as minor hurling manager for the coming year.

O'Connor will be joined by Stephen Byrne, William Flynn, Brian Troy and Pascal Hoctor on the management team.
