Anton Sullivan has decided not to appeal the proposed one-month ban he received for the Offaly CCC.

The county star was reported by Walsh Island referee Pat Gallagher for verbal abuse during a recent minor championship game between Rhode and Na Fianna. Sullivan was managing the Rhode team that lost the MFC 'B' quarter-final by 0-9 to 1-11.

The army man's decision not to contest the sanction means he will miss Rhode's Offaly SFC semi-final against Clara at O'Connor Park on Sunday and a potential final against either Edenderry or Tullamore on October 11.
