LOTTO
The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday 10 August 2015 were 02 12 14 28. SENIOR B FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RD 5
Raheen Senior Footballers face an uphill battle to qualify for the semi finals of the Senior B Championship after losing out to Durrow in their Rd 5 encounter last Saturday evening in O'Connor Pk, Tullamore on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-09 and now must win their final 2 games. Durrow opened the scoring with a point straight from the throw in and added 2 more before Raheen got off the mark with a point on 5 mins. Over the next 15 mins Durrow controlled the possession as they added 4 points to Raheen's 1. Then in the final 10 mins of the half Raheen came back into it slotting over 4 points to Dirrow's 2 so at the break there was just 3 points separating them as Durrow led 0-09 to 0-06. Durrow increased their lead to 5 with 2 points inside the first min. Thereafter for most of the next 25 mins Raheen dominated the possession but could only manage to add 3 points to Durrow's 2. Then in the final min Durrow sealed it with a well taken goal.

SENIOR B FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Raheen Senior Footballers continue the Senior B Championship against Tubber in the Penultimate this Saturday evening (22 Aug) @ 6PM in O'Connor Pk, Tullamore. All Support would be appreciated.

RAHEEN GAA NURSERY
Raheen GAA club are providing a nursery for 4 to 6 year old boys and girls every Saturday morning from 10am to 11am in the GAA Field in Geashill. All are welcome

U16 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Na Fianna U16 Footballers kept themselves in contention to qualify for the A Championship Quarter Finals as they claimed their 2nd win in the group stage against Gracefield last Monday week in Geashill on a scoreline of 2-09 to 1-10. Na Fianna made the early running and had opened up a deserved lead of 5 points to 1 after 20 mins but Gracefield fought back with 4 points in a row in the final 10 mins to tie it up at the break 0-05 apiece. Na Fianna got the ideal start to the second half as they scored their first goal inside the first min when Lee Mulpeter caught an overhead ball on the edge of the square and immediately fired his shot to the net. Gracefield again came back with 4 points to Na Fianna's  2 over the next 15 mins. Then on 20 mins Na Fianna appeared to wrap it up with their second goal when Adam Cuddy drove a pildriver of a shot from about 30yds out into the corner of the net. 2 more points for Na Fianna followed to extend the lead to 6 points Gracefield were not giving up and they added a point before getting through to score a goal in the final min to ensure a tense finish but Na Fianna managed to hold on to clinch the win.

MINOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Na Fianna Minor Footballers complete the group stage of the Championship against Ferbane / Belmont this Wednesday (19 Aug) @ 7:00pm in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.

U16 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Na Fianna U16 Footballers go in search of the win they need to secure a place in the A Championship Quarter Finals as they take on St Vincents in the Final Rd next Monday (24 Aug) @ 7pm in Ballycomman. All Support would be appreciated.
