Meath and Dublin will take part in the U16 Blitz

The 2015 Leinster GAA Talent Academy Tournaments will showcase some of our top Gaelic football prospects on Saturday week, August 15.

Football blitz tournaments at Under 14, Under 15 and Under 16 levels will be given centre stage at venues all over Leinster as the up and coming stars of Gaelic football get their chance to shine.

It's an opportunity for counties to promote the development work taking place to unearth their next generation of inter county talent.

And after all the internal training, it is a chance for these young players to test their skills in an inter- county competitive environment.

As well as teams from Leinster, there will also be development squads from Tyrone, Leitrim and Roscommon travelling and taking part on the day.

And in a novel feature there will be selected GPS tracking and testing carried out to monitor.

No limit will be placed on the number of substitutions allowed in matches to enable team managers to give every player in their squad a chance to impress.

The Under 14 blitz will see Carlow, Wicklow and Laois play off a round robin in Netwatch Training Centre in Carlow. Longford, Meath, Westmeath and Louth are all sending two squads each who will play in two groups in Darver Centre of Excellence.

Wexford Centre of Excellence in Ferns will host Offaly, Wexford, Kildare and Dublin who are also all sending two squads.

The Under 15 A blitz will see Wexford and Westmeath joined by Tyrone and Leitrim in a group playing in Rhode.

Longford, Carlow and Kildare will be based in Ballinagar. Edenderry host Dublin, Meath and Laois while Clonbullogue will host Offaly, Louth and Roscommon.

The Under 15 B section will have Dublin, Roscommon and Meath playing in Ballyfore and Tyrone, Westmeath and Wicklow playing in Croghan.

The Under 16 blitz will see Meath play Longford and Offaly play Louth in Dunganny. In Ballinakill in Wicklow, Wexford will play Dublin and Laois play Wicklow and the winners of these matches will then play off as will the losers.
