Dooley steps down

August 07, 2015

Seir Kieran have had to appoint a new manager midway through the SHC campaign following Billy Dooley's decision to step down.

Dooley was in his second year as manager of his native club, having guided the club to the semi-final last year, and this year, they had recorded three wins from three in the championship.

The 1994 and 1998 All-Ireland is believed to have been unhappy with the commitment from his players this year and took the decision to leave the position.

This Saturday, Seir Kieran take on St Rynagh's in a top of the table clash and Mick Coughlan has taken over the reins from Dooley.
