What is happening to Offaly football?
In last Sunday's JFC 'C' final, Lusmagh and Cappincur could only manage one point between them in an entire half and this evening the locals were scratching their heads once again after Tullamore inflicted a 31-point defeat on a hapless St. Brigid's team in a woefully one-sided SFC encounter.
County hurler Shane Dooley scored 'The Blues' second goal in the 7-13 to 0-3 rout, which raises more questions about the state of football in the once-mighty GAA county. Ironically, a SFC 'B' was introduced this year in the Faithful County to avoid results like this.
Is it any wonder the county side is struggling?
Tullamore win 7-13 to 0-3, Brigids finish with thirteen men. Dire stuff to be honest - several goals were walked in.
