Coolderry's Cathal Parlon celebrates scoring a goal against Oulart-the-Ballagh

The Offaly senior hurling championship throws in this weekend.

Defending champions and four in a row chasing Kilcormac/Killoughey are the first side in action over the weekend as they take on Brosna Gaels at Moystown tonight (Friday).

Also in action tonight are Shinrone and Kinnity who clash in the same group at Coolderry. The last game in the group and possibly the standout fixture is the meeting of Birr and Coolderry at Shinrone on Sunday afternoon.

Group 2 also throws in tonight as Ballinamere and Shamrocks meet at O'Connor Park, while on Saturday Seir Kieran take on Belmont at Banagher. The last game in the group sees St Ryangh's and Tullamore meet at Kilcormac on Sunday.
