Intermediate Championship:
Don't forget our lads play the first round of the Intermediate Championship this coming Saturday (11th April) in Ballinamere at 3 o'clock against Erin Rovers. Come and give the lads the support they deserve after a wonderful year last year.
Junior Championship:
The Junior B team play the first round of the Junior B Championship on Tuesday 14th April in Geashill at 8 o'clock against Raheen. Please come and give the lads some support.

Football:
The Division 4 league side opened their campaign on Sunday with a narrow defeat in Clonbulloge. Daingean started brightly with a goal from midfielder Jake Naughton and frees from Jamie McCabe after fouls on John McCourt. Four points in a row brought the home side back into it but 2 more Jamie McCabe efforts before half time had Daingean ahead. It could have been worse for the visitors had Clonbulloge not missed a penalty. However the home side did draw level and at half time it was all square, Clonbulloge 0-07 Daingean 1-04.
The second half saw Daingean edge 3 points clear after points from McCabe & John McCourt.
That was as good as it got for the visitors as Clonbulloge took control around the middle and kept the scoreboard ticking. A magnificent ball from Ciaran McEvoy put Mick Connolly through on goal but he could only raise a white flag. Clonbulloge finished the stronger and 3 unanswered points saw them home on a full time score of Clonbulloge 0-14 Daingean 1-07.
