Killeigh and Killurin club members have given the go ahead for them to amalgamate.

A meeting of both clubs was held this week to discuss the possibility of them amalgamating and the majority ruled in favour of pursuing the matter.

The matter is now with the Offaly county board and it could be a few weeks before the whole affair is sorted, but it looks as if a new club will be formed.
