The pre-season action continues this afternoon with 11 football and seven hurling ties down for decision.
The standout game in football is the meeting of old rivals Meath and Dublin in the O'Byrne Cup semi-final at Pairc Tailteann. Holders Kildare square up to DIT in the other semi-final in Newbridge.
Waterford and Cork will battle it out in Clashmore for the right to face UCC in the McGrath Cup final, while the four McKenna Cup round 3 fixtures that fell victim to Storm Rachel in midweek have all been rearranged for today with the semi-finals slated for Wednesday night.
A win for Mayo over Roscommon in Castlebar, meanwhile, will see them qualify for the Connacht FBD League final against Galway.
The big hurling tie is the clash of Clare and Tipperary in the Waterford Crystal Cup quarter-final at Sixmilebridge. Leinster's second tier competition, the Kehoe Cup, also gets underway.
