All-Ireland champions Kerry have been rewarded with five places on the 2014 GAA GPA All-Stars football team.

Paul Murphy, Peter Crowley and David Moran will pick up their first All-Star awards at tomorrow night's banquet in the Convention Centre while Kieran Donaghy and James O'Donoghue have been honoured for the third and second time respectively.

The omission of Kingdom defender Aidan O'Mahony, however, is sure to be one of the big talking points following the release of this year's winners this morning.

Donegal supporters, meanwhile, might feel aggrieved that Ryan McHugh is not included in the half-forward line but the teenager faced stiff competition from his captain Michael Murphy and Dublin duo Paul Flynn and Diarmuid Connolly

Flynn will collect his fourth All-Star award in-a-row while there can be little argument about the inclusion of the supremely talented Connolly on his first All-Star team. Their Dublin team-mate James McCarthy has also got the nod from the selectors.

The Ulster champions are represented by goalkeeper Paul Durcan, Neil McGee, Neil Gallagher and Murphy and there may be some consolation for McHugh in the form of the Young Player of the Year accolade.

He is up against Donegal team-mate Paddy McBrearty and Shane Walsh (Galway) for that particular honour while the Footballer of the Year, award which will also be announced tomorrow night, is between O'Donoghue, Connolly and McGee.

Mayo trio Keith Higgins, Colm Boyle and Cillian O'Connor, another first time recipient, complete this year's team.
