This year's intermediate football final will see Shamrocks and Raheen do battle after they came through their respective semi-finals last weekend.

Shamrocks bid to create history continues as they are in both the intermediate hurling and football finals and are bidding to become the first club in the county to win both in the same year.

A comfortable 3-14 to 2-07 win over Durrow earned them a place in the football final, but they will face a tough test against Raheen.

They recorded an even easier win over Doon as they won by 2-16 to 0-06 to advance to the decider, which will take place in a fortnight's time.
