SHC down to last four

October 03, 2014

The senior hurling championship semi-finals take place at O'Connor Park this Sunday afternoon.

Both games form an attractive double header as St Rynagh's take on Seir Kieran and Kilcormac/Killoughey face Coolderry with both games set to be very close indeed.

The first match at 2.30pm sees St Rynagh's and Seir Kieran bid to make a return to the final after few year's absence. The loss of Gary Conneely through suspension is a massive blow to the saints and could swing the tie in Seir Kieran's favour.

The second semi-final sees the two top teams in the county over the past decade go head to head. Both have won the Leinster club title in recent years and this is set to be an epic battle.

Coolderry's Brian Carroll and Kevin Connolly have been in exceptional form all year and if they continue that trend, then it's the 2011 Leinster club champions that should progress.
