Former Offaly county board secretary Christy Todd has been appointed the new part time GAA administrator.

Todd was a long service member of the county board and he is set to take up his new role at the start of November.

Offaly chairman Padraig Boland announced the news to delegates' at the most recent county board meeting after four candidates had been interviewed by Croke Park officials for the position.
