A number of teams will be hoping to seal their places in the knockout stages of the SHC this weekend.

Three-in-a-row chasing Kilcormac/Killoughey are the form team and will be expected to make it four wins from four at the expense of relegation-threatened Brosna Gaels in Moystown on Sunday morning. Elsewhere in Group 2, Coolderry are fancied to get back to winnings ways against Belmont, while Seir Kieran - who surprised Coolderry last time out - should be too strong for an improving Drumcullen.

In Group 1, Shinrone and St. Rynagh's lead the way, and there is little to suggest either will slip up in their penultimate round ties. Rynagh's should have too much for senior new boys Ballinamere in Rath this evening, while high-flying Shinrone look set to heap more misery on a struggling Tullamore at St. Brendan's Park tomorrow.

In the other Group 1 game at Banagher on Sunday, Birr - who suffered their first SHC defeat to Shinrone in 33 years a fortnight ago - face a difficult game against a Kinnitty side who are also battling to reach the quarter-finals.
