The race for the Dowling Cup heats up this weekend with six fourth round games down for decision.

The action gets underway in Ferbane this evening when Killcormac/Killoughey take on Ballycumber in Group 2. The double Ks appear destined for the new senior 'B' championship next year after conceding a walkover to St. Rynagh's in the first round and being trounced by Clara. And it's difficult to envisage them beating Ballycumber.

O'Connor Park will host four of the five remaining fixtures tomorrow and on Sunday. In tomorrow's double-header, Clara should have the edge on Ferbane, while Tullamore will be expected to get back to winning ways after losing to Gracefield against Tubber.

In Sunday's double-header, Gracefield will be aiming to build on their aforementioned victory over the champions, while Rhode will be expected to consolidate their position at the top of Group 2 with a win over St. Rynagh's.

The other game in Ballyfore on Sunday afternoon should result in an Edenderry victory over a depleted Walsh Island side.
