Shinrone secured back-to-back Offaly U21HC titles last weekend when they defeated St. Rynagh's by 1-10 to 0-9 at St. Brendan's Park.

In what was a repeat of the 2013 final, a Conor Doughan goal from a 17th minute penalty proved decisive for Shinrone who led by 1-4 to 0-3 at the interval. St. Rynagh's got the margin back to the minimum with 10 minutes remaining, but Joachim Kelly's charges were able to pull clear again through late points from Darragh Cleary, Adrian Cleary and Ciaran Cleary.

Having retained their U21 crown and being the current minor champions as well, the future certainly looks promising for the south Offaly club. Tweet
