Tullamore and Edenderry will contest the Division 1 football league final following their respective victories over Ballycumber and Clara last Sunday morning.

County champions Tullamore powered to a 1-17 to 0-12 victory over Ballycumber in Tubber, while Edenderry defeated a weakened Clara by 1-14 to 2-7 in Croghan.

Kevin Williamson and John Kavanagh scored 1-10 between them for Tullamore, who led by 0-8 to 0-7 at the break. Rory Guinan notched 0-7 (0-5 from play) for Ballycumber, but it was one-way traffic for the most part in the second half.

Sean Marshall found the net for Edenderry as they comfortably accounted for a Clara team that was minus the services of Graham Guilfoyle, Ross Brady and Thomas Deehan. Tweet
