Corduff club notes

Club Lotto:

This week's Club Lotto draw was held in The Dugout, Carrickmacross on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were: 02, 07, 17 & 21. There was no winner of our Jackpot of €3,300. The five Lucky Dip Winners of €20 were: Benny Gartlan, Jim Wakely, Lorcan Hand, Cathal Connolly & Philomena Hand.

Next week's draw will be held in MC's Bar, Shercock on Sunday night at 9pm, where the Jackpot will be €3,400.

Intermediate Team:

The Intermediate team lost out to Emyvale in the first round of the Championship on Saturday evening last, and have been drawn in the back door against Toome. The game will take place this Saturday evening in Pairc Grattan, Inniskeen with throw-in at 5:00pm. Big support needed to help keep the team in the Championship.

Minor Team:

The Minor side are preparing for the Connolly Meats Minor Football League Division 1 Shield Final against Scotstown which will take place on Tuesday 22nd August in Blackhill at 6:45pm. All support welcome.

Congratulations to all our members who received their Leaving Certificate Results this week.

Juveniles

Under 10:

Training as usual on Saturday at 10am and Wednesday at 7pm. The next blitz is the all county blitz in Clones on Saturday August 19th.

Under 12:

Our U12s begin their Div3 Shield campaign on Saturday, August 19th, away to Ballybay. The game throws in at 12pm. The competition will be run off in a round robin format. Corduff are away to Sean McDermotts on August 26th and at home to Tyholland on September 9th. The top 2 teams will play in the final.

Under 14:

Congratulations to our U14s reaching the League Cup final against Aughnamullen. This will be the 3rd meeting of these sides this year in league and championship and if recent history is anything to go by it will be a close game. The game will be played on September 2nd. Venue and time TBC.
