Scotstown manager Mattie McGleenan says his side will be going into Sunday's Ulster club senior football championship final with no fear of the province's giants.

Crossmaglen have been ranked as 1/3 favourites for Sunday's showdown at the Athletic Grounds and former Tyrone midfielder McGleenan says his Monaghan champions will not alter the attacking style which has seen them oust Slaughtneil and Trillick, respectively, so far in the competition.

"Scotstown have a rich tradition in the Ulster club - they have won four out of five finals," McGleenan told The Irish News.

"We have very solid players and we have no fear of Crossmaglen, we have got here on merit. If somebody had said to us at the start of the year that we'd win Mick Duffy [the Monaghan championship] again and play Crossmaglen in the Ulster final, we would have danced with delight. Slaughtneil were Ulster champions and we beat them in a fantastic game of football and beating the Tyrone champions [Trillick] is a superb victory in its own right.

"To be here, we're delighted, it's an absolute honour to be in an Ulster club final. Last year, I was in the crowd watching Slaughtneil and Omagh play a great game of football and, now, we're actually being a huge part of it. This has been a tremendous journey that we're going to enjoy."

Throw-in at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh on Sunday is at 3.30pm
