Intermediate Championship:

We travelled to Clontibret on Saturday evening last to take on Emyvale. This game was always going to be a thriller as there has been very little between us in the league. the game started brightly with both teams exchanging points in the first 4 minutes. This set the tone for the rest of the first half with no more than a point between the teams at any stage. #Further points by Barry M Ginn and Darren Connolly left things all square at half time. The second half  we busted out fo the blocks with 3 unanswered points by Barry Mc Ginn and Damien Ward. Emyvale piled on the pressure and responded back with 3 unanswered points to leave things all square with 50 minutes on the clock. Barry Mc Ginn kicked a pointed free to give us a slender advantage going into the dying minutes. Emyvale got he equalizer in injury time with a pointed free to force the game to a replay.
