Toome club notes

July 22, 2015

Seniors: Tense, thrilling, tight and tough, and that will just be in the warm up! This Sunday's clash with local rivals Oram promises to be all of those things and we hope to have a big support in Castleblayney for the 3pm throw in time. The Killanny v Scotstown game precedes it at 1:30pm. Best of luck to the team and management.

Minors: Well done to the minors who beat Aughnamullen by 2-11 to 1-5 on Tuesday evening to qualify for the league final. There were impressive performances from all of our leading players, and after a tense first half where a point separated the teams at half time(1-4 to 1-3) we kicked the first 2 points of the second half before a goal from youngster Eoghan Watters opened a gap between the teams. We face Emyvale in the championship semi final next Tuesday evening at 7:15pm in Tyholland.

Under 16s: Best of luck to the under 16s as we welcome Rockcorry to St Victor's Park on Thursday evening at 7:30pm for the championship semi final. The lads have been training hard recently, and are sure to be ready for this one.

Under 14s: Well done to the under 14s on a comprehensive victory away to Drumhowan. We need to redouble our efforts in training in the coming weeks to ensure that we reach the semi finals.

Under 12s: Best wishes to the youngsters, we are away to Drumhowan in the shield semi final, the game is fixed for Monday 27th in Drumhowan at 7:30pm
