Juvenile training

Training continues for our U6, U8 and U10 hurlers on Wednesdays from 6.30 to 7.30pm. There will be an U8 and U10 blitz this Sunday morning in Clontibret beginning at 11am and over by 1pm. plsyers will be meeting up at 10.30am at McMahon's Super Valu carpark.


U14's

Congratulations to our U-14 team who had a big win against Inniskeen on Monday last on a scoreline of 8-16 to 2-3. The next u14 match will be on Monday 4th of May at home to Lisbellaw.


U16's

The U16 team will finally begin their campaign this Monday night when they take on Inniskeen in Concra. The game starts at 7.30 and players are asked to meet in Concra at 6.45


Minors

Hard luck to our minor team who lost out to Monaghan Harps last Sunday. Their next game is Friday 24th April against Carrickmacross in Concra at 7pm. The minor team are out again on Sunday morning at 12pm in Truagh with a league semi-final place up for grabs


Seniors

The senior team beat Carrickmacross in the SHL last Thursday but unfortunately our reserve team lost out to the same opposition by one point on Monday night. The senior action continues this Thursday with a game in the senior hurling league away to Truagh


Coaching Course

There is a coaching course this Friday the 24th of April  from  7pm to 8-30pm in Cloghan . This session is open to all coaches and is an outdoor, interactive, learning workshop. The session will focus on winning primary possession and identifying attacking play scenarios. There will be selection of drills and games to improve the technique of striking for scoring in games situations. This is a coach the coaches workshop, so all coaches are requested to dress appropriately with trainers.


County Minor Camogie

Best of luck to the county minor camogie team who are playing in the All Ireland Minor Camogie final in Inniskeen this Saturday at 11.30am


Tidy Towns

Please keep in mind that Monaghan Co Council and Castleblayney Tidy Towns have organised a litter picking morning for the Castleblayney bypass on Saturday morning, the 8th May. Assembly is at Blackhill GFC at 9.30am
