Countryfest is back

Our Annual fundraiser Countryfest is only around the corner and can you believe it's about to celebrate its 5th Birthday.

In association once again with Mc Ardle Skeath this year's Marquee with be showcasing the biggest names of Irish country music like Nathan Carter, Mike Denver, Robert Mizzell, Declan Nerney, Jonny Brady, Adrian Goslin, Mickie the Butcher and new up and coming sensation Lee Matthews.

2014 saw a sellout festival and Country Fest 2015 is shaping up to be even bigger and better.
It is kicking off earlier this year on the Thursday night with a fundraising concert with Robert Mizzell on behalf of the Steadfast house Carrickmacross.

The complete line up and cost of entry is as follows:

Thursday 30th Apr - Robert Mizzell €15
Friday 1st May - Declan Nerney & Lee Matthews €15
Saturday 2nd - Adrian Goslin & Nathan Carter €15
Sunday 3rd - Micky the Butcher, Johnny Brady & Mike Denver €20
Our official media partner Elite country radios will be broadcasting from the Marquee throughout the weekend and entry is available at the door each night.

We have extended the VIP Area so more people can avail of the reserved seating and Table service. It's the perfect opportunity to meet and greet the biggest names in country music. Family Fun Monday
Family fun Monday is back this year and let's hope the big man upstairs will shine brighter on us this year as we have an amazing line up scheduled for all ages.
We are kicking off from 1pm and we have all sorts to keep the wee ones happy from indoor Kidz Zone activities to outdoor inflatables. No matter what Mother Nature throws at us this year we will be ready with Plans B, C & D to ensure the fun keeps going.
Inniskeen Grattan's are re introducing rounders back into the club and from 1.30 - 3.30pm, kids from both St Daigs & Blackstaff will be putting on exhibition matches to demonstrate the sport. We also would like to encourage any kids who wish to turn up and tryout to come along and swing from the hip as you don't have to be into Football or Hurling to participate and enjoy this.
The Main event of the day will be the Inniskeen Legends football Match.

Former Grattan Men from the winning 85, 89 & 94 teams are joining up with the Heroic Inniskeen Ladies of 92, 93 & 94 to put on an exhibition match. 
Join us in rolling back the years and see some of the biggest household names of the 90's once again put the pride of red and green on their backs for some light hearted fun and craic.

Presentations will take place in the marquee from 5.30pm and will be followed by a Ceoltas Session. Feel free to bring an instrument and play along.
Entry to Family fun Monday is free so come along to give Countryfest 15 a big send off.
