Doohamlet club notes
March 23, 2015Our Seniors started of their 2015 season with a trip to Emyvale. After all the hard training done over the last few months it was finally time for the real action to start. In perfect conditions for football Emyvale opened the scoring with a point and Doohamlet responded with a Darren Connolly point. Emyvale got 3 further unanswered points but Doohamlet narrowed the gap to a single point going into the break. Both teams exchanged points in the first 10 minutes of the second half and then a well worked goal between Jamie Walshe and finished by Niall Connolly left the score 1-5 to 0-5. Both teams registered further points each and then in the 47th minute Emyvale hit the net. It was point for point after this and going into the 53rd minute it was 1-8 a piece, emyvale found the net again on the 57th minute which left 5 points in it with 3 minutes to go. It finished on a scoreline of Doohamlet 1-9, Emyvale 2-11.

Congratulations to our 5 representatives on Our Ladys Secondary Scheel team on winning the Mc Larron Ulster Final on St Patricks Day.
U12,s had a good win at home to Aughnamullen.
We wish a speedy recovery to Marty Hughes who underwent knee surgery recently and hope to see him back in action soon.
