Oram club notes

Oram National School Parent Association:
would like to thank all who attended or help in any way to
make our Valentines Fundraising a great success. A special  mention to all the local Businesses and Individuals who donated prizes for the raffle on the night.

JUVENILE DISCO: Date for diary is the 27th March, the Halloween and Xmas disco were extremely well attended we hope the Easter Disco will be a similar success.

MINORS: The following teams will compete in our division in the minor division 3, Blayney, Rockcorry, Currin& Aghabog, Killanny, Doohamlet, Latton, Tyholland, the competition will be split into shield and cup semi-finals , after the exam break, we commence training next week.

SELECTORS: Our selectors for the coming year have been confirmed, Dermot Mc Bride and Gerry Mc Coy will assist team manager Gavan Comiskey, both men need little introduction both former players and have served as selector and team manger in the past, the seniors have a run-out against John Mitchels from Louth this Sunday.

NEW ARRIVAL: Congrats to Vincent& Cathy on the birth of baby boy recently, the question been asked around Killygola is will he play for Tipperary or Monaghan?

ALL-IRELAND JUNIOR FINAL: Oram Ns principal Mick Fylnn was a proud man in Croke Park last Saturday when his local Club Brosna( Kerry) won the All-Ireland junior championship, rumour has it Mick is organising a game with Oram!

PARADE: The Paddy day parade is gathering steam and promises to be bigger and better than ever, watch this space!

GOOD LUCK: To Lorcan Keenan who manages the Patrican HS team in the Mc Clarnon semi-final on Sunday against St Malachys Belfast in Emyvale.

SYMPATHY: Deepest sympathy is extended to Johnny Mc Kenna on the death of his mother.

REF COURSE: Senior player Jason Mc Donald is taking up the whistle and attending a course at end of month, anyone else wishing to take up the whistle contact Hughe or Tony.

EXERCISE BICKS: Thanks to Pete & Amanda in definition for sponsoring exercise bicks to the club.

DARTS: The annual Teddy Finnegan Darts competition takes place on Saturday 7th March at 6pm, first prize £300, entry fee £10. All welcome.

COURSES: Coaching courses take place at level 1 and foundation levels contact Pauric Mc Mahon for details.
U-10S: Attended indoor blitz in Ballybay on Saturday and acquitted themselves well.

SPONSORSHIP:In a new departure for the club we are seeking sponsors for all our teams from senior to u-8, the sponsor will be acknowledged on twitter, facebook and in print with the teams fixture for the week, a letter will be sent to potential sponsors in the coming days, anyone interested in seeking more info contact any committee member.

FRIENDS OF ORAM: Once again our scheme is once again proving to be a wonderful success, with large numbers of members renewing there membership, we urge all players to sign up and anyone who uses our excellent facilities.
