Alpha Lotto - Lotto Results from last Sunday night. Letters drawn were A,G,P,T. There was no jackpot winner. Lucky Dip winners were Jamie Boyle, Monaghan, Paddy Connolly, Scotshouse, Conor Toal, Annaghamartin, Anthony & Eilen Connolly, Emyvale, Helen McMahon, Magherarney, Francie McCaffrey, Mulladuff, Paddy Toal, Annaghamartin. Operation Transformation - 5 weeks left until Christmas. Come on out guys! Walking continues on Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 10am. Meeting point is Smithboro Community Hall. New members always welcome.

AGM - The Annual General Meeting for the club will take place on Friday 28th November in the Club Rooms. Starting time will be 8.30pm. The AGM is a most important gathering for any Club and as such we urge members, players and people with an interest in the club to make a special effort to attend this meeting.  This is an opportunity for club members to have a voice in shaping club policy.
GAA National Draw -The GAA has launched a nationwide GAA club initiative to help clubs fundraise: The GAA National Club Draw takes place on 27th February 2015 at National Congress. There are some outstanding prizes including a trip for two to New York. The tickets are €10 each. This is a nationwide GAA campaign and each club gets to keep all revenue that they generate through ticket sales.As you may appreciate, we are faced with ever increasing costs of running the club, while, at the same time, it is becoming ever more difficult to generate revenues. This is your community's local club and I would appeal to you to support this draw. Tickets are available from any club member.
Smithboro Badminton - A new badminton club has been formed. anyone interested please contact joe on 087-2540603 for membership. Badminton will take place in Smithboro hall
every Wednesday. You must become a member for insurance purposed if you want to play.
Anyone from 10 year old is welcome.
Training Course: Monaghan Coaching & Games are organising a Foundation Award for new coaches or current coaches who have not yet completed the Foundation Award. The award is open to anyone with an interest in coaching. If you would like to register for the course please contact Patrick McCarron ([email protected] / 042 97 52034). Details are Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November at Monaghan Training Grounds Cloghan, Fee is €30.
