Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 16th Oct:
Intermediate League: We unfortunately lost by the narrowest of margins on Saturday evening to Cremartin. We now play Clones this Sunday at 3.00pm.

Glaslough Duathlon: is taking place this Sunday October 19th and proceeds are in aid of Aware. It has a 2.5km run a 20km cycle and 2.5km run and entry is €15. It should be great fun and for a really good cause. Please support. Registration is from 10am until 12.30pm Start time 1pm.

Thank You: The Colton family would like to thank everyone who helped to make the BC tournament a success this year. They would also like to thank Conor Mc Manus who took time out to present the awards.

Centenary Gala Ball: With our Centerary Gala Ball only four week away our plans are receiving the finishing touches! There has been a great demand for tickets and anyone still wishing to purchase can do so from any member of the club or contact Martin O'Brien 0876721981. The Centenary Gala Ball will be held in The Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan on Saturday 15th November, dress will be formal & Stop The Clock from Navan will supply the music. Doors open on the night at 6pm with a champagne reception and traditional music on arrival with dinner been served for 8pm, so come along early and savour the atmosphere it will truly be a night to remember.
 Centenary Arboretum - In December we are planting 100 native trees around our grounds in Tully to commemorate our Centenary year. The name of the individual or family who purchases the tree will be displayed on a drawing located within the clubrooms. Tress will cost €30 each and if you wish to purchase a tree please contact Martin O'Brien 0876721981.
Photographs: The hunt is on again for photographs relating to the club. I doesn't matter how old or how young they are, it is hoped to have a photographic display on the night of the Gala Ball & if we have no photos, there will be no display. Photos can be given to Monica Mc Kernan or Martin O'Brien. They will be scanned & handed straight back, so get searching in those drawers & cupboards & hand the photos in.
