Corduff 3-15, Clones 0-12.
In the end Clones proved no match for a hungrier, more intense Corduff in this sudden death quarter final game that was played in ideal conditions in Scotstown on Saturday evening.  Clones opened well and just two points separated them at the break but in the second half Corduff upped the ante and pulled away with a series of scores that put the issue well beyond the reach of Clones well before the end.
