We are back in the championship final after a titanic struggle against a very good Scotstown team. A 0-06 0-03 early second half lead quickly vanished as Scotstown dominated for long spells and drew level at 0-06 0-06 with ten minutes remaining. Lady luck was certainly with us as the young blues passed up numerous chances to take the lead at this crucial stage, thankfully our defence held under fierce pressure when the signs looked ominous and the team showed their experience to come back into the game and kick the final three points. The game was played with huge commitment from both sides with the result in doubt right to the final whistle. We will play our neighbours Drumhowan on Sunday September 28th in the final and we are under no illusions that we will need a vastly improved display.
