McElvaney Recycling U21 League: Our U21s will play Rd 3 of the league away to Truagh on Wednesday 30th July at 7.45pm. They had their first competitive game last Friday at home to Monaghan Harps and won by 4pts.The game was evenly balance in the opening 20mins, Harps went 2pts up but efforts through Jack Turley & Conor Forde levelled things ,as the half progress both sides exchanged scores to be on level terms again. However, the Harps went into the break in front by 7pts to 5 with Conor McCarthy, Ruairi Sheehan & Jack Turley getting the remaining first half scores. In the opening 2mins of the 2nd half, Michael Mc Carville & Conor McCarthy level the match at 7pts each and then by the 51st minute Scotstown were 1-13 to 9pts ahead, Rory McCarthy grabbing a goal on 32mins and points from Myles Treanor (2), Conor Forde, Jack Turley, Conor McCarthy & Ruairi Sheehan. The Harps did close the gap to 2pts with 1-2 without reply but in the closing stages a brace of points from Michael Mc Carville & a Rory McCarthy point left the final outcome at 1-16 to 1-12. Platinum Tanks Reserve DIV 1A: Our B team has booked a place in the Reserve DIV 1 final where they will be up against Clontibret. Date and time of fixture has to be finalized.

Universal Graphic Junior Championship: Pl come along and support our junior team in Rd 2B of the Championship against Toome on Sunday 27th July in Tyholland at 4pm.

Ciste Draw: Our Monthly Draw takes place on Sat 26th July in our Social Club. Ticket €7. Pl support and we hope all ticket sellers will make an effort to sell their quota.

O' Duffy Cup: The final of the O Duffy Cup is fixed for Friday 1st August between Scotstown and Blayney in Tyholland at 7.30pm.

Minor Championship: Our minors advanced to the semifinals of the championship with a 3pt win away to Truagh last Tuesday. Points from Cian McGonnell, Jack Turley, Jamie McCarey (2) & a goal on 22mins by Ciaran Treanor gave Scotstown a great opener to the first half to lead by 1-5 to 3pts. Truagh put in a strong finish to the half & the home side trailed by 6pts to 1-5 at half time. James Sherry & Conor McKenna got Scotstown off the mark in the 2nd half, but then two quick goals from Truagh put them ahead by 2-7 to 1-7after 42mins, Scotstown replied with 3 Francis Maguire points to level the match at 1-10 to 2-7, Cian and Conor added two more points, while Truagh responded well with points of their own, but the crucial score came at end through Francis Maguire when he slotted home a goal to leave the outcome at 2-12 to 2-9 in what was a close contest. Minor League: On Tuesday 29th July our minors will be away to Carrick at 7.30pm

U16s: Our 1st team will be at home to Donaghmoyne this Thursday evening at 7.30pm.

U14 DIV 1: Will be away to Magheracloone on Saturday 26th July at 12noon
U14 DIV 5: They will be at home to Inniskeen in Rd 6 of the league at 12noon

U12 DIV3B: Scotstown U12s are at home to Monaghan Harps on Tuesday 29th July at 7.30pm

U8s: Training continues every Saturday at 10am for all U8s Boys & Girls in the main playing pitch.
U10s: Training for our U10s Boys and Girls in Kilmore this evening (Thursday) at 6.30pm and on Saturdays at the main playing grounds.
Congratulations: To Aine Mullen and Kenny Cauldwel who were married last week. We wish Aine and Kenny all the Best and happiness for the future.
Ned Run: The Ned Run will take place on the weekend of August 9th. More details later
