U21 League: Emyvale U21 Team travelled to St. Mellans on Friday evening last & came away with a three point victory over the home side. Emyvale went into an early lead but Truagh fought back with a goal & trailed by two at the halfway stage. They resumed after the break & went ahead but Emyvale replied with a great passing movement which resulted in a goal to regain the lead. It was end to end stuff with both sides digging deep & Truagh once again found the back of the net to go ahead again. Emyvale missed some vital scores but then Rory Sherry popped up to lob the keeper & secure the victory for Emyvale on a scoreline of Emyvale 2:14 Truagh 2:11.
